To Pervez Musharraf, Dictator of Pakistan from Hizb ut-Tahrir, Britain:
Peace be upon those who tread the path of guidance

You have come to Europe to seek legitimacy from your colonial masters for your rule in Pakistan, enjoying 5-star luxury hospitality paid for by Pakistan's citizens, whilst they suffer at home from oppression, insecurity, record food prices and daily power cuts.

At yesterday's address at the Royal United Services Institute in London you promised democracy and elections, boasted of a successful economy, talked of human rights and press freedoms, and pledged not to allow foreign troops to violate Pakistan's sovereignty.

Yet back home you have cracked down on all opposition. The elections you offer promise a future where power will continue to be controlled by colonial powers, and authority within the country will remain in the hands of feudal landlords and rich industrialists.

People queue for hours to buy flour due to your neglect. There is daily load shedding because you neglected to add a single kilowatt of electricity to the national grid during your time in power. Instead, ownership of energy resources has been passed to private interests that have in turn burdened the public with rising costs of petrol, gas and electricity, and strangled Pakistan's industrial and agricultural activity. Added to this, people are burdened by your oppressive General Sales Tax.

Your rhetoric about human rights and freedom of the press to please your western audience did not hide your media censorship and your unnecessary slaying of the elderly, women and children in Lal Masjid, only to make an example of them. More than any other leader in Pakistan's trouble history, it is you who has surrendered sovereignty to a foreign power, giving logistical support to the US military and then allowing use of Pakistan's land and airspace aiding their ‘war on terror'. At their behest you sacrificed Pakistan's troops by sending them to kill their own brothers and sisters in the brutal crackdown in Waziristan and Swat.

Really putting Pakistan first would only be by implementing the Islamic system - the Khilafah. Elections in the Khilafah would realise the political authority being in the hands of the people of Pakistan and making sovereignty for Allah, not for western colonial interests. The economic success in Islam would be the duty to feed, clothe and shelter the poor; abolish oppressive taxation like the GST; and for all the citizens - not western companies - to share in energy resources.

Real security can only come by ending all cooperation with the US in their colonial military adventure, and to stop shedding the blood of your own citizens. Real accountability by the press would only come when the Islamic obligation to account the ruler is realised correctly in society.

All of this can only be realised when Allah Ta'ala - who sees through your lies and witnesses your betrayal - fulfils His promise that He will replace your oppressive rule and corrupt system with one that will obey His command, follow the example of His beloved Messenger (salallahu alaihi wasallam) and rule with justice in the form of the Khilafah system.

Although we pray to Allah Ta'ala that even you become one who fears Him alone and fulfil His command, we have little expectation that you will do so. But take note from us that until such time as Allah chooses to deliver His Help and Victory, you or any who follow in your treachery will continue to hear our words reminding you of the truth and exposing your falsehood.

وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلاَّ الْبَلاَغُ الْمُبِينُ

And our duty is but plain conveyance (of the message).Surah Yasin 36:17
