WHY ME ??
* when you are hurt by the people who share
blood relations with you , recall Yusuf a.s who
was also betrayed by his brothers..
* when you find your parents opposing you (in
deen) recall Ibraheem a.s who was burnt by his
own father ...
* when you are mocked and abused by your
own relatives just because you adopted deen
over dunya recall Rasool Allah sallalhu alaihi
wa sallam who faced the same..
*when u are stuck into some problem and find
no way out recall Yunus a.s who was stuck into
a fish's stomach...
* when you fall ill and your whole body cries
with pain recall Ayub a.s who was more ill than
you...
* when you see some physical fault in yourself
recall Musa a.s who could not properly speak ..
* when someone slanders you, recall Ayesha r.a
who was also slandered through the whole city...
* when you feel lonely recall how Adam a.s
would have felt when he was sent to this earth
alone ..
* when you can't see any logic in whats going
on and your heart asks why is this happening..
recall Nooh a.s who made the biggest ship
without questioning ...
* Subhaan Allah ...
Allah put all those great personalities in trials
so that some day someone like You and Me ,if
faced by any calamity should not question
WHY ME?? ...
Alhumdulillah Alaa Kulli Haal

Verse 19 of Surah al-Ma'arij says, "Truly man was created, very impatient." This is why when we face any difficulty or calamity, we start blaming our luck instead of praying and seeking Almighty Allah's help and refuge. A true believer never gets disappointed as he believes that Almighty Allah is always with him and He never disdains a believer's prayers.

Patience is the first weapon for the believer to use when facing hardship. Patience has been mentioned in the Noble Qur'an more then 90 times. Also it was mentioned many times in authentic Ahadith of the Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.

In another hadith, the prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: “Never a believer is stricken with a discomfort, an illness, an anxiety, a grief or mental worry or even the pricking of a thorn that his sins are removed for him.” {Imams Bukhari and Muslim}
