Micro Hydro Power Plant
Micro Hydro Power Plant like the one in the Youtube video is the answer to Pakistan's ever growing energy demands. It can be built along the banks of rivers, ravines and rapids in highland areas in northern Baluchistan, northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit & Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Micro-hydro power is renewable and non-polluting resource for the small-scale generation of energy using rapid flowing water. It doesn't require big dam construction and can help a small community with very low cast energy at their doorsteps.
