مقبوضہ کشمیر کے سابق وزیر اعلیٰ فاروق عبداللہ نے ایک ٹی وی انٹرویو کے دوران کہا ہے کہ زیر محاصرہ کشمیر کے وہ تمام لوگ جو بھارت کے ساتھ اپنے مستقبل پر یقین رکھتے تھے اب نئی دہلی کے بجائے چینی حکومت کے زیر انتظام آنے کو ترجیح دیں گے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ تمام کشمیری جو پاکستان میں شمولیت کے خلاف تھے اب بھارتی اور چینی بارڈر پر کھڑے ہیں، جبکہ جموں و کشمیر کے بھارت کے ساتھ الحاق اور لداخ میں کی گئی تبدیلیوں کی وجہ سے چین پہلے ہی غصے میں ہے۔
